The European Association of Architectural Heritage Restoration Companies was founded in 1992 by heritage restoration companies concerned about the conservation and future of monuments. The secretariat of the association is based in Madrid, Spain and the headoffice in Schiltigheim, France.
Companies from 8 European countries , formed a network to share concerns, knowledges, contacts, etc withe the aim to contribute to the future of Heritage and Restauration Heritage.
AEERPA represents unites individual European restoration companies and national heritage restoration associations. As well, it has active colaboration with other European Association concerned about Heritage.

AEERPA is the only association who represents all European companies specialised in the restoration of architectural heritage. We defend a company model which is essential in safeguarding our heritage. Our aim is to become the main interlocutor for the European institutions with regards to all questions concerning the restoration of architectural heritage.
AEERPA represents national heritage restoration associations and unites individual European restoration companies. It offers support and provides networking opportunities in order to maintain and enhance conservation-restoration skills and craftsmanship. To stimulate development and innovation in conservation-restoration, the association organizes technical days, symposiums and other meetings. Transnational mobility is encouraged by facilitating the exchange of heritage restoration professionals from different companies in different countries.
